In February John and I went to Cabo. John earned this trip for making Presidents Club at his work. It was so fun to get away and spend time together.
The first day we arrived and got checked into our resort. We stayed at the Riu Palace. It was a beautiful resort right on the beach with amazing views!
After getting some food (and drinks with no alcohol...everyone there could not believe we didn't drink:), we headed out to the pools and beach. The pools were awesome looking! I actually never put more than my legs into the pools. Unless the water is at least 88 degrees, it is not worth getting in! John and some of his friends from work swam and we spent the time relaxing and enjoying the views. We had read some reviews that the beach right out from our hotel was very dangerous. Of course John had to push the limits and test it out.
The edge of the pool looks like it flows right into the ocean. It was super cool! The rocks right out from the pool are Lands End. That is the end of the Baja Peninsula. Our room actually overlooked this pool and had a great view of Lands End as well.
