Easter

Easter was such a good day at our house. It was so nice to have John home on a Sunday morning! The Easter Bunny found us and left more candy than we could have imagined! I am not sure what he was thinking. We made resurrection rolls and talked about the Savior. The older kids took time to read in the scriptures by themselves and then we watched some videos off of LDS.org. After church we spent time with Johns family and the kids got to do another Easter Egg hunt. I took 1 picture. Sometimes I wonder why I even bother! :)

Spring Break

Spring Break is already over??? It flew by and I cannot believe we are well into the month of April. The first day of the break we spent at the zoo with our friends... "our Gardners" as Easton calls them. Daxton was so good to just hang out in his stroller and I had all the help I could ever need with him. The older kids are always checking on him and taking care of him! The kids were so happy to check on their favorite animals. They all love the zoo, especially Rocky Shores. They could spend all day there! The next day we played with the neighborhood kids all day...a little bit of heaven on earth! That night we dyed Easter eggs. This is the first year we have had dye spill and I can't blame it on anyone else. It was my fault. Luckily, nothing is stained green! On Saturday we had an Easter Egg hunt at my parents house. The kids love to spend time with their cousins so it was an exciting time for everyone! That night we used our "Pass of all Passes" for the first time and went to the Real game. We left Dax with my parents because I was worried about him getting cold, but the weather was actually really nice. We were a bit late to the game so we missed the first goal. I thought John was never going to forgive me! Luckily, Real made a second goal that game.

Hailey is 11

I cannot believe that Hailey is 11. Time is flying by! For her birthday, the animal loving girl, chose to go to the aquarium and to dinner. She wanted a horse cake! This is the best I could do:) Hailey is such a huge help with the boys. I think they listen to her better than they listen to me. Thankfully, she doesn't abuse that power! Happy Birthday Hay!!
