A Much Needed Family Fun Friday

For some reason, the normal everyday things in life have seemed extra stressful lately. I think John and I both have felt way too stressed...John with reason, me without much reason. Any how, we all needed to have fun and relax so we took the kids bowling. (It cost $6.00 for our family to rent shoes and the bowling was free...thanks to a summer pass Hailey brought home from school....hooray!) We had such a fun time. (Not that we bowled great, but hey we had a good time.)

Easton even got in on the action. He loved it. (It only took one run down the bowling lane and he discovered it was slippery and he never did it again.)

Here is the final score....it is not pretty! Hailey won....maybe next time John & I should have bumpers too!

After bowling we went to good old Texas Roadhouse for dinner. It was yummy and the best part was Easton sat by John so I didn't have to keep him entertained.

Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House

On Friday night, we took Hailey & Coleton and went to the Temple openhouse. (After Easton saw the oxen in the Draper temple, he would not stop MOO-ING throughout the entire rest of the tour. We decided to leave him at Grandmas this time!) We missed him, but it was very nice to just take the two older kids. This temple is amazing. We loved the modern decor and we loved watching the kids learn and feel the spirit.

Preschool Field Trip & Graduation

Coleton had his 3 year old preschool graduation last night. They did a cute little program and got to do a graduation walk and throw their hats. Too Cute!!!

Coleton & his buddy Coleman. They really were not that into the program this time.

This is not a very good picture, but the look on his face is just too cute not to post.

Coleton's preschool field trip was to the Discovery Gardens at Thanksgiving Point. I have never been down there, but I will be taking my kids back. It was so fun. The boys ran and ran and got to climb and have a great time.
