Oh BOY, oh BOY, lets add one more BOY!!!

The main reason I have been so behind not only on this blog but also in life is I spent most of spring and the first part of summer so crazy sick! But I guess it will be worth it in the end. We are expecting a BABY BOY during the first part of December. We are all a little bit nervous to have another baby around these parts but I am sure after adjusting to diapers and night time feedings again it will all be good. Bring on more sports, nonstop wrestling matches and constant wildness!

End of School Programs

Both Hailey and Coleton received their Soaring Eagle Awards. We barely made it to the award ceremony because of a very close baseball game but luckily right as we walked in they were calling Coleton's class up. It was one of those nights that we had so many things going that at the end of the night I couldn't believe it all worked out!

Hailey's grade did a huge "Utah" production. It was awesome. I guess they used this program for the Olympics back in 2002. The 4th grade teachers at our school are amazing!!!
Coleton's grade celebrated all four seasons in their program. It was super cute but I was sitting so far back I didn't get any great pictures. Here is Coleton and one of his best buddies Coleman after the program.
Easton's preschool program was entertaining to say the least. He did so good and I cannot believe how far he has come this last year. The teacher asked all of the kids what they wanted to be when they grew up. Easton's answer, "Like my dad." So cute!!!

Spring Fieldtrips

In May I was able to go with both Hailey and Coleton on their school field trips. Coleton's class went to the zoo. He is such a fun boy, always happy and making jokes no matter what. He is a friend to everyone and he just loves, loves, loves to be with his buddies. It is always so fun for me to just sit back and watch him enjoy life!

Hailey's class went to This is the Place. I had never been there, but I loved it. The kids got to learn a pioneer dance. It was hilarious watching the 4th graders as they had to dance with a member of the opposite sex. SOOOOO Embarrassing!!! Next, they pulled a handcart. Hailey's little group was funny. The volunteer put the girls in the front to pull the handcart and the boys in the back to push. Naturally the boys pulled back on the handcart the entire time. Luckily, the girls were tough and just drug the boys along. They also learned about mountain men and rode on a train. I cannot believe how big Hailey is! She is so polite and kind to everyone. Several times I noticed her grab someone who was feeling left out and pull them into whatever she was doing. Thank heavens for little paydays like that!

Batter Up!

Both Boys played baseball this spring. It felt like we lived at the baseball fields! Coleton played on the Reds and Easton on the Volcanoes.

Easton does not love baseball like Coleton does. He likes to hit but that is about it. It made for a long season for him.
Coleton can't get enough baseball. He loves it! This year they played 2 innings of machine pitch and then it was kid pitch for the remaining innings. It is crazy that 7 years old have to throw it that far and that accurate but by the end of the season they were figuring it out. His team had a rough start but by the end they did so good. It was so fun to watch them work together to win. Here is little Coleton getting ready to pitch
Swing...He made the most runs of anyone on his team.

Wheeler Farm Spring 2012

For Coleton's Soaring Eagle Award he needed to take a family field trip, make a poster and share it with his class. One beautiful spring day we headed to Wheeler Farm to fulfill this requirement. It was so nice to walk around the farm and enjoy the kids while they explored and laughed.

Dance Competitions

We spent many Saturdays this spring at gyms across the valley enjoying dance competitions. Hailey had her 2 best friends on her team this year which made it so fun for her! We are going to take a break from dance next year and just stick with tumbling. Hailey is burned out and after dancing 5 hours a week last year I can understand why. She wants to try a few new things and if she misses dance she can start it up again.
