Easton is 4

Easton recently turned 4! As I look back over the last 4 years I can't believe how Easton has changed our lives for good. He dances to the beat of his own drum, refuses to follow the norm, and doesn't let anything or anyone change his mind or push him to do something he doesn't want to do. Easton lives for trains and even calls my mom the "train grandma" because she has a geo track at her house. It is not uncommon for Easty to have 3 different tracks set up all intertwined. Easton lights up our world when he wakes up in the morning and announces to anyone he sees, "Good Morning, I missed you while I was sleeping!"
This year all he wanted for his birthday was a jet pack that would make him fly....since I have a little bit of an issue with my 4 year old flying...he had to settle for another gift!
Happy Birthday Easton! We are so happy you are part of our family!
Here is the perfect example of how Easton rolls....."Easton, smile for the camera."
and....steal a little candy...

St George

We spent a few days in St George with John's family. It was nice to get away for a little bit and spend some time together! We went to Sand Hollow and played in the water...

relaxed in the water...
played in the sand...
and ran as fast as we could across the sand as it burned our feet as we went.

We took a very quick stop at the hotel to clean up and it was off to the Pizza Factory for some delicious breadsticks and pizza....

followed by Tuacahn. This was by far my very favorite part of the whole trip. The play was amazing. The special effects were awesome and most of all Easton loved it so much that he sat so still the whole time. Coleton fell asleep and told me he would have liked it if he wasn't so tired. This picture was taken at midnight and you can see in Coleton's eyes how tired he really was.

The next day we swam at the hotel pool and then enjoyed some shopping. (my second favorite part of the trip :) We found some excellent deals and I felt happy! After visiting with family for a bit we headed home...or so I thought... John remembered this place he went after High School graduation, so we stopped...it made John happy! It also made the boys happy....not so much Hailey...too many bugs!
The BIG boys got to climb up higher than the rest of us...they think they are tough!
The first lizard Easton saw scared him almost to death....he let out the loudest scream ever, but then he decided they were neat and searched for them.
No....John didn't really throw the poor boy into the water below even though Coleton begged and begged.
Easton loved the freedom...
Coleton loved crawling through the rock...Easton loved trying to climb up and slide down.
And a picture of us all looking our finest!
All in all we were glad we went and created a few fun memories together!
